Technuf is seeking a skilled and experienced Endpoint Engineer (Support Technician).
Job Description
The Endpoint Engineer (Support Technician) is responsible for the day-to-day support, configuration, and maintenance of district-managed endpoint devices across multiple platforms. This role focuses on operational support of Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, endpoint security tools, and device inventory accuracy, working closely with Help Desk, field deployment teams, and identity management services to ensure reliable and secure device operations.
- Overview: Manages all user devices and endpoint security per RFP SoW 3.5.
- Administer Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, Azure AD (Entra ID) device groups, Autopilot enrollment, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management for endpoints.
- Perform imaging, device preparation, deployment, and break/fix remediation with direct integration into Help Desk operations.
- Work closely with the BPS IT Help Desk for escalations, ticket triage, and Team Dynamix integration.
- Group Certification: Microsoft Intune MD-102, Jamf Pro 200+, CompTIA A+, Windows 11 MD-100, ITIL v4, ServiceNow/TDX Admin.
- Primary Tools: Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Entra, Team Dynamix, Incident IQ.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting enterprise endpoint environments using Microsoft Intune and Jamf/Jamf Pro (or equivalent platforms).
- Strong working knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), device objects, and group-based targeting.
- Experience with endpoint security agents, asset tracking tools, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform device lifecycle management, audits, and cross-platform troubleshooting.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and operational teams.
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
