What we’re looking for

  • At least 4 years of federal HR experience.
  • The level II Specialist can work independently to resolve transactions and complex cases such as: process historical corrections, calculate and process manual payments, calculate and process internal agency debts, calculate and process no pay cases, and perform leave and VLTP audits.
  • Responsible for performing research and analysis on employee personnel and payroll records and identifying root causes of issues.
  • This employee participates in the design of operational solutions, providing functional knowledge to process improvement, training, or technology team members. Advises and leads junior staff in the completion of tasks.
  • Preferred Candidate possesses a minimum of 4 years prior knowledge and experience in processing Federal Payroll actions using Federal HR systems (NFC, SPPS, and Empower) in at least 3 of the following functional areas and specializes in at least 2 of the following areas: Leave Audits, Union Dues, Debt Management (Child Support and Garnishments), Pay Documents, Lump Sum Payments (Annual and Comp time), Manual Payments, and the Voluntary Leave Transfer Program. HS degree required.
  • Public Trust security clearance required.
